Louise Vincent-Blandin ( - )

Louise Blandin is the sister of the painter Etienne Blandin (1903-1991). After classical studies, she studied nursing. In 1927 she married Yvan Joseph Vincent and became Louise Vincent-Blandin. It was in Paris, while visiting museums at the beginning of her marriage, that she had a revelation about sculpture. She decided to join the fine arts school when they arrived in Rennes. Her work for the Manufacture Henriot dates from the 1930s, where she made about ten models before collaborating with a Saxony porcelain factory in 1935. She exhibited in Rennes on several occasions in those years. After the war, she practiced sculpture only as an amateur.
