Max Wulfart (1876 - 1955)

Max Wulfart was born in Frauenburg, Russia, but lived in France. He was a student of Cormon and J.P. Laurens in Paris. Exhibits at the Salon des Artistes Français since 1914. Portraitist and interior painter. We know his portraits of Anatole France, Alphonse XIII and Albert Einstein. Several of his works can be found in various museums in France. He works in Brittany. He belongs to the school of Concarneau.
