Pierre Plouhinec (1907 - 1984)

An artist of colour, Pierre PLOUHINEC knows how to convey the bewitching charms of Brittany by distilling here and there in his paintings a few touches of sunlight. He was selected for the International Grand Prix of Deauville in 1961, and participated in the 1962 Winter Exhibition. In 1964, he became a member of the Sociétaire aux Artistes Français where he received an honourable mention that same year. We find him at the Salon de la Marine in 1966.
