Alexandre Fischer attribué à ( - )

Trained at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris and a student of Paul Delaroche. Alexandre Fischer drew his inspiration from Brittany, where he eventually settled permanently. He taught drawing at the Brest Naval School for several years, until his death. In 1870, he created classical frescoes for the charming Coatdry de Scaër chapel, which is listed as a historical monument.
