Paul Abram ( - )

This painter is a specialist in scenes and landscapes of Brittany. He entered the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris in 1876, in Jean-Léon Gérôme's studio, and then became a student of Gigoux. In the 1880s, he settled and worked in the Pont-Aven region, then in Douarnenez. Abram painted landscapes of Finistère, fishermen, peasants and women in folk costume in a style that was both academic and realistic. He exhibited at the Paris Salon from 1882 to 1912.
