Plateau entitled "After midnight the shadows of the dead".
René Quéré ()
Born in Ploaré, near Douarnenez, René Quéré studied fine arts in Quimper in the 1950s. His teachers were Jos Le Corre and Pierre Toulhoat. It was at their invitation that he worked at the Keraluc earthenware factory in Quimper. From 1956 onwards, he participated in collective exhibitions. He mainly showed groups of paintings in personal exhibitions in Brittany, Paris, Belgium and Germany. One finds in his work his attachment to Douarnenez, the world of sailors and Breton landscapes.
