Charles Homualk ( - )

Charles Homualk was born in Nantes and studied at the Beaux-Arts in that city. After his military service, he began a career in advertising. But he is best known as an illustrator of postcards on the theme of all the regions of France. In 1933, he began his collaboration with the Gabriel Artaud publishing house in Nantes, which lasted until 1970. It was during his Beaux-Arts years that Homualk created four or five models for the HB earthenware factory.
