Pol Noël, whose real name was Paul Pérot, was a French painter of landscapes and seascapes, active in the Vendée, Brittany and Normandy. He is the grandnephew of the painter Jules Noël, whose artistic inspiration he carries on. He depicts ports, boats and rural scenes from western France. He exhibited at the Salon de La Roche-sur-Yon in 1893 and created several decorative schemes for mansions in the Vendée, notably on the theme of the Île d’Yeu.
