Alexandre-Gabriel Gaillard-Deschamps (1903 - 1984)

Alexandre Gabriel Gaillard-Deschamps was a French painter specialising in landscapes and seascapes. Born in 1903 in Saint-Saturnin-du-Limet, Mayenne, he developed an artistic career focused on depicting coastal and harbour scenes, particularly in Brittany, but also in Venice and Paris. He began exhibiting at the Salon de la Société Nationale des Beaux-Arts in 1930, then at the Salon des Indépendants from 1935.
