This is one of the mysteries of the Manufacture Henriot. Everything suggests that Cartier could be a pseudonym, but it could also be the name of a business or a dealer.

Another mystery is that the letters JH for Jules Henriot are used by the Manufacture for regional editions outside of Brittany, which seems strange in view of the theme of the pieces found. Moreover on these coins, the mention Quimper is not mentioned.
