Henri Blahay ( - )

Pupil of Max-Gillard, Jean Paul Laurens and Henri Royer. He first exhibited in Nancy where he counted among his clients the collector Eugène Corbin. In 1905, he made his  first exhibitionat the Salon des Artistes Français and became a member. He obtained an Honorable Mention in 1906 and continued to exhibit until 1939.

He remained in Paris until 1920, when he returned to Nancy to continue his work as an artist. He was a member of the Cercle artistique de l'Est, where he exhibited landscapes of Alsace, Lorraine, and Brittany, and studies of horses.
