You will find a similar painting by the same artist on our website. These two works form a very interesting diptych. One is in black and white, created in a very graphic and stylized style, giving an almost universal, synthetic vision of Breton forgiveness. This gouache, however, depicts the same scene but in a more vivid way. The framing is similar, but the treatment is more picturesque, capturing the popular and festive atmosphere. These works are a kind of dialogue between the timeless and the everyday.
