Rare woodcut from 1920, signed lower left and dedicated "To my friend Yan ar Floc'h with all my heart". Probably in the Audierne region. RESERVED

Yan ar Floc'h (1881-1936), whose real name was Jean Le Page, was a man who collected the oral traditions of the Pays de l'Aulne in Finistère and published them in Breton magazines. The value of Yan ar Floc'h's work was not recognised during his lifetime.
