Maurice Ménardeau ( - )
A student of Charles Fouqueray who gave him a taste for naval scenes, he became an official painter of the navy in 1936. He discovered Brittany in 1924 and decided to settle there permanently in 1963. In Concarneau, he met A. Guillou and became friends with Delpy and Barnoin. Even if he became a marine painter, he also liked to paint markets and pardons with his friend Barnoin. He is part of what is called "the painters of Concarneau".
